Not sure if it’s changed owners because years ago the quality seemed better. Chicken croquettes were frozen in the middle, then they remade them and overcooked them. I paid for extra chilli on the burger and they put a thin scraping, had to ask for more (no other ogalo is this stingy). The worst part of all was the chicken in my burger was rubbery and chewy, it seemed undercooked and when I got home I had food poisoning…I’ve gone to most of the ogalos in Sydney for almost 20 years and none of them have been as bad as this one. The whole place is filthy, if you look where the kitchen is it’s actually disgusting, do yourselves a favour and go to crows nest or lane cove ogalo if you’re craving it because they’re actually clean and make the food properly. A tad too much sauce but the rest of the Burger was great. The bun, however, disintegrated as I tried to eat it, turning into mush from the sauce, and general poorer quality bread. The foot itself is great, Jumbo Meals are reasonable value and delicious (also great when delivered through Uber East). The tables at the chain are usually dirty, and the backs of the chairs are all broken. Sitting inside is too loud and hot. Service was great though, meals brought out quickly.
